Rebirth of Pusan National University Yangsan Hospital as a representative
medical brand in Korea.
PNUYH was built in large area of 231,000 ㎡ in Mulgeum-eup Yangsan-si,
Kyeongnam in November 2008. It is Korea’s first and the world’s
only comprehensive medical complex which was designed as the hospital
with a comprehensive medical complex comprising a university hospital,
a children’s hospital, a dental hospital, a Korean medicine hospital,
a rehabilitation hospital, a specialized disease center and a clinical trial center,
all in independent buildings.

Based on state-of-the art medical facilities, PNUYH offers outstanding medical services through top medical staff, a comprehensive medical information system [YES], PACS, a logistics automation system, and construction of a treatment infrastructure. In 2013, through re-accreditation from JCI [Joint Commission International], it is now equal to the safest hospital in the world with patients’ safety as our top priority. Furthermore, through the management of medical treatment quality, the education for medical staff, and control of infection, it provides safe and high-quality medical treatment for both domestic and international patients. Aside from the organ transplant center, which is the best in Korea, there are 11 other specialized centers including the Gastroenterology Center, the Cardiovascular Center, the Neurology and Neurosurgery Center, the Minimally Invasive Endoscopic Surgery Center, the International Healthcare Center, and the Health Promotion Center, along with 23 specialty clinics including the Hemato-Oncology Clinic, the Spine Clinic, and the Nephrology Clinic.
